To whom it may concern,
I want to express my deep displeasure with your decision to remove all “offensive” content from Tumblr. Perhaps you have missed the point of your platform; that it provides a safe space for forms of legal expression not allowed on other platforms. If you enact this policy, you will have taken away the reason your platform exists in the first place, and it will certainly die!
If your action takes effect on December 17th, I plan to delete my current 4 Tumblr sites which I have maintained for years and move to another platform, one that will not be as good, as open or as free. This is regrettable, but actions like the one you have proposed, limiting free expression for all instead of going after the violators who undoubtedly prompted this action must have consequences.
Hopefully if enough users follow, another platform will rise to fill the void you are leaving. Or, you could just back away from this poor decision.
